All Break-out Sessions will be informal and discussions will be encouraged.

anonymous questions

Campers will have the opportunity to submit questions regarding just about anything that will be answered by the camp leaders. They will be able to submit

the questions during the morning sessions. The questions will be drawn at random.

talk backSM

We were always told “don’t talk back.” This is an opportunity for the youth to

speak as openly and honestly as they feel (without cussing). Youth have things

on their chest too, they get stressed, confused…This is how we get to know them. Adults can’t always talk and never listen. This will be their time to have the floor.

LyrixSM

Sometimes when you can’t find the words to say, it’s easier to write it out. The youth will be given questions to prompt thoughts and scriptures to prompt their spirit. We expect creativity to flow onto the paper and they will discover who they are and who they can become.

Other Sessions

The other session will be made up of various questions and answer, devotions, discussion and prayer. We want them to be empowered by the spirit of God and see their life with a.nu.vu.

Following the Break-Out Sessions the campers will return to their tracks until the end of the day.

Volunteers

We encourage and welcome volunteers from various backgrounds and skill levels.

Camp Rules

Rules for campers are for the benefit of all participants.  They ensure safety and fun for all involved.  Please respect these rules and enjoy your time at camp.

  • Show respect for teachers and counselors by following their instructions and speaking to them in a respectful way.
  • All campers must be with a partner when moving about the campus without their group.
  • Use inside voices and actions while indoors.
  • Treat fellow campers the way you like to be treated, with kindness and respect.
  • Fighting will not be tolerated. Our definition of fighting is any action meant to physically harm another person.
  • Absolutely NO foul or abusive language. This includes the words you know you should not use as well as making comments to others which are cruel or insulting.
  • Stay with your leaders and counselors at all times. Campers should never leave the group you are assigned to without the permission of a counselor or teacher. Once given permission, a partner must accompany you at all times.

  • The most important rule of all is to have FUN!  The best way to do this is to have a positive attitude and participate in all the activities that have been planned for you.

Be a friend, look for ways to be helpful to one another.
